Reading Detectives is our KS2 programme aimed at developing reading comprehension designed by Hazelbury.

It uses a consistent approach to teaching reading enabling the children to use their 'Midas' strategies to comprehend. 

Children tackle questions daily based on the different reading domains 'Vipers'.

Children are exposed to a variety of diverse texts from a range of genres which progress throughout KS2 to expose them to new authors and peak their interest in books they may have otherwise not have heard of. 

Our programme is adapted to suit the needs of all learners with an online programme available whereby children can read texts and comprehend if necessary.
